Law for Community Workers Training

We offer our free Law for Community Workers training to non-legal organisations to assist workers to better support their clients experiencing legal issues and understand the law.

You can access our Law for Community Workers training in a number of ways: 

FREE Law for Community Workers Online Training Program

Our Law for Community Workers Online Training helps you identify legal issues your clients have and connect them to legal help earlier .

  • Self-paced modules you can complete in your own time 
  • Access free downloadable fact sheets and practical resources
  • Beginner and intermediate levels
  • Modules take between 30 – 90 minutes 

After completing our training you will learn how to:

  • Be a Legal Issue Spotter
  • Conduct a Legal Health Check with your client
  • Connect your client to legal help
  • Support your client through the legal process.

Law for Community Workers free virtual information sessions on priority legal topics

We offer regular free virtual legal information sessions for community workers on priority legal topics.  Information is facilitated live by our community lawyers and include an opportunity to connect with our service and ask questions.

Our information sessions will be recorded and made available to watch back.

We ask all participants to have completed one module from our Law for Community Workers Online Training.  You can register and access our Online Courses here.
